How long does it take you to prepare my order ?

All orders placed before 1pm are prepared the same day or the next day by our logistics specialist. Orders placed on Fridays after 1pm will be processed on the following Monday. In addition, there may be transport delays, which are beyond our control.

What are the delivery times?

  • In metropolitan France: Excluding Sundays and public holidays, 24 to 48 hours for delivery at home or at a collection point. 48 to 72 hours for Corsica.
  • Within the European Union: Excluding Sundays and public holidays, at home with signature or at a collection point, 1 to 5 working days.
  • Rest of the world + DOM TOM: At home with signature or at a collection point (if available), in 4 to 7 working days. Taking into account the possible customs clearance which is out of the control of the carrier, the delay can be up to 12 days. Outside the European Union, customs charges may be applied and are to be paid by the customer.

Deliveries are entrusted to Chronopost and Colissimo.

My parcel is not at the right collection point.

Once chosen, it is not possible to change the collection point.

For technical reasons, the carriers may have to drop off your order at a different collection point than the one you initially chose.

Unfortunately, it is impossible to transport a parcel from one delivery point to another. If you cannot get there, the package will be returned to us after 10 to 15 days. Once back at our warehouse, you will be contacted to ask if you would like a return or a refund.

How do I track my package?

The customer has two options:

1/ To have a customer account with THE SAGES (fill in the registration form before purchasing a product), he will then have all the useful information and functionalities (follow my order, my profile etc..).

2/ Anyone can check the status of their order by clicking here ?

What happens if I miss the delivery

  • At home: In the event of your absence, the delivery man will notify you of his passage, allowing you to schedule a new delivery on the carrier's online recipient space.

At a relay point: If the parcel has not been collected within the time limit, which is generally 9 to 14 days, it will be returned to us.

If my package arrives damaged, should I refuse it?

The first solution is not to accept the damaged package. The package you refused, unopened, is then automatically returned to us by the carrier. We will contact you to refund you or arrange a new shipment.

The second option is to accept the package. If the item is damaged, it is preferable to inform us on the day you receive the package. We then invite you to make a return request via your THE SAGES customer area.

Go to My order history, under the summary of your order, choose the reason "DEFECT" and click on the link "Generate a return". You will immediately receive a return label by email. As soon as we receive the package, we will proceed with the refund.

What are the delivery costs?

In particular, the purchases made on the Site are increased by a fee for transport which will appear before the validation of the order and will be included on the invoice.
Acceptance of the order implies acceptance of the amount of this fee and any additional costs.

Which countries can I order to?

We deliver almost everywhere in the world. If you cannot find a country, please contact us. Outside the European Union, customs fees may apply and will be charged to the customer.

I have received an item that is not in my order, what should I do?

Go to the CONTACT FORM, select "PREPARATION ERROR", enter the order number and the name of the items affected by the preparation error, then explain your situation.

My package is missing an item, what should I do?

This may be an error in the preparation of the order, unless the item is no longer in stock. Go to the CONTACT FORM, select "MISSING PRODUCT", fill in the order number and the name of the missing item affected by the preparation error, then explain your situation

Beware of customs duties

  • ORDERING A PRODUCT: If you have your order delivered to a country outside of France, you will be responsible for customs duties. Please check before ordering on the-sages.com if your country applies customs duties. If you do not pay the customs duties upon arrival, the goods will be returned to France by the customs services, and no refund will be made.
  • RETURN OF A PRODUCT: If you return a product that is not suitable for you from a foreign country to France, customs duties may be required upon entry of the product into France in the event that customs does not have proof that it is a return and believes that you are importing a product into France. In this case, The-sages.com will not pay the customs duties and no refund will be made.
    You must request duty-free status before returning your product: You must contact your customs department and explain that you wish to return a product that is not suitable for you. This will include:
  • Justify the reason for the return
  • Provide the first customs declaration
  • Provide the invoice issued at the time of export
  • The customs declaration for reimportation will in principle mention in box 37 the procedure 61 10 (reimportation following a definitive export) followed by the mention F01 and in box 31 the reason justifying the return procedure as well as the reference to the export customs declaration which will also be annotated accordingly.
  • It is necessary to ask for confirmation of the exact procedure to follow from your customs service because it can vary according to the country. In any case, the customs can refuse you the "exempted returns" regime if they do not have the means to ensure that your goods are returned in the same condition as they were:
    • for example the value declared by you is not the same as ours for export
    • the customs classification declared on return is not included on the export declaration
    • or the latter has not been electronically stamped on exit (no mention of EXIT), etc.
    • Make sure items are in their original condition and that all tags are attached.
